My legs are still pretty hammered from Monday, but I decided to participate in the HBS 5K. I did just under a mile warm up (probably slower than 9 minute pace) wondering how in the world I was going to run fast for 5K. My legs, particularly my quads, need a lot more recovery from the marathon. Well, it ended up better than expected. Will could have probably gone a bit faster, but we ran together for the race and led for the last 2 miles. The next guy was maybe 10-15 seconds behind us. After the race, I did a 2.5 mile cool down with Will and Tommy. Great day for running (temps in the low 50's)...too bad we couldn't have traded weather with Monday.
